Twist the pen until color is released onto the brush tip. Dab away any excess with a tissue. Apply with short strokes to gray roots at the hair line or part line. Then comb hair to blend with existing hair color for an even, natural look. Allow a few minutes to dry. Hair spray can be applied as usual. Shampoos out easily. For natural looking highlights: apply with even strokes to desired areas.
